Welcome to Nyam Nyam, the London Korean And Japanese Restaurant Review Site. We review Korean and Japanese restaurants that are in London. We do so with an eye to deliciousness, authenticity, charm, friendliness and freedom from generic pan-Asian glop. By generic pan-Asian glop we mean Wagamama.
One of us is Korean. On the left is Pudding, our Korean agent. She is able to eat her own weight in squid kimchi in under seven minutes. She also operates a fully functioning tomato-and-sunflower farm in the Waterloo area. In reviews, Pudding writes in this color.
One of us is English. On the right is Rib, our English agent. He is able to cook complex English foods such as beans and toast. By this, we mean beans one day and toast the next day, not both at once. This gives him valuable insight into Asian cuisine. In reviews, Rib writes in this color.
One of us is Japanese. Unfortunately there are some problems with the Japanese component of our team at this time. In reviews, the Japanese person would write in this color if only things were different.
Together, we review the Japanese and Korean restaurants of London! We are merciless to the bad, and unstinting in our praise of the good. Problem: The Japanese member of our team is missing, probably assassinated by the furious staff of the Tokyo Diner. We are seeking a replacement. If you have what it takes to eat sushi occasionally and report what it tastes like, and can say at least one word of Japanese, please contact us. If you think that Tokyo Diner is real Japanese food, please do not contact us. Or anyone else. Ever.
Incidentally, 'Nyam Nyam' is Korean for 'Yum Yum!'
