Old Justice
A Bermondsey pub with a Korean flavor
3/5
Old Justice is a towering, vaguely menacing East End pub -- with a completely incongruous Korean kitchen.

Ohaiyo
Korean Japanese takeaway built into a train station wall
4/5
You can't leave the north side of New Malden station without passing this handy hole-in-the-wall.

Ryo
Ramen shop that's cheap but not all that cheerful.
3/5
Ultra-simple ramen bar that's not as good as it used to be.

Sushi Hiroba
Ideal for wealthy, undemanding visitors.
2/5
Expensive Korean-run sushi and karaoke joint. You'd go here if you were a staying in a nearby hotel, you were rich and a little dumb, and you knew absolutely nothing about food. But that's a big demographic.

Phoenix
A jolly good neighborhood restaurant (located, sadly, in Raynes Park).
4/5
A classic neighborhood Korean restaurant, but service and freebies elevate it just a notch above the rest.

Nara
Your basic Korean restaurant. Central London has more interesting choices.
2/5
Nara is exactly like being in Korea. Specifically, it's exactly like being in a dull restaurant in Korea that charges London prices.

Tres moderne, tres chic, mais pas tres Japonais.
4/5
Elegant and daring Japanese-themed fast food and the perfect break from West End shopping.

Aki
An oldie but no longer really a goodie
2/5
One of the first pioneer Japanese restaurants in London, Aki hasn't really kept up.

Corean Chilli
Quick lunch in Korean style
3/5
A good place to get a bite to eat on Charing Cross Road.
